Hotkey, search & shortcuts

Summon Seedmux from anywhere

Press ⌘3 in any app and Seedmux appears with your terminal focused, ready to type. Press it again and you're back where you were.

Change the key or turn it off in Settings › Shortcuts. How the window behaves is up to you in Settings › Hotkey Window:

  • Style — show the window in place, or slide it in from an edge of the screen, full width or full height.
  • Automatically Hide When Switching Apps — click elsewhere and Seedmux gets out of the way.
  • Summon without taking the menu bar from the current app — type into Seedmux while the other app keeps its menu bar.

⌘P — every session in one place

⌘P opens a list of all your agent sessions. Type a few letters and press Return to:

  • jump to a running agent, in any space, or
  • resume a recent conversation — Claude Code, Codex, Pi or Devin — in a new tab.

⌘F — find in the pane

⌘F searches the scrollback of the pane you're in. Text you select stays selected while new output scrolls past.
