Your first ten minutes
A short tour of the things you'll use every day. Each step links to the full page.
1. Start an agent
Click + next to the space name and choose New Agent ▸ Claude (or Codex, Grok, OpenCode, Kimi Code, Pi, Antigravity, Devin). A tab opens with the agent already running.
You can also open a normal tab with ⌘T and type claude or codex yourself — Seedmux recognizes it either way.
Watch the end of the tab's row in the sidebar: a spinner while the agent works, a softly breathing orange dot when it needs you, a green dot when it's done and you haven't looked yet. → Agents at a glance
2. Split the screen
⌘D splits to the right, ⌘⇧D splits down. Each pane is its own card; the one you're typing in is the brightest. Drag a pane by its header to move it, or drag it into the sidebar to turn it into its own tab. → Spaces, tabs & splits
3. Let the notch call you
Ask an agent to do something that needs permission — running tests, for example. The notch at the top of your screen expands and shows the request. Click y to allow it right there, or click the title to jump to the pane. → Dynamic Island
4. Quit. Really.
Press ⌘Q while an agent is in the middle of something. Open Seedmux again: every tab, split and line of scrollback is back, and the agent kept working the whole time. → Sessions that survive ⌘Q
5. Read it as a conversation
Click the Chat half of the switch in a pane's header. The same session now reads like a chat: your messages, the agent's replies, and its tool calls folded into one line each. Type at the bottom to reply. → Chat view
6. Ask for a team
Tell your agent something like:
Split this across the team — have codex write the tests while you fix the bug.
New panes open beside yours with workers in them. When they're done, your agent checks their work and gives you one answer. → Agent Team
7. Take it with you
Open Settings › Phone › Pair a New Phone and scan the code with the Seedmux iPhone app. Every session is now in your pocket — on Wi-Fi, on cellular, and everywhere in between. → iPhone
