Open localhost
Your agent says “running at http://localhost:3000”. Tap it. That's the page, on your phone.
When an agent prints a link like http://localhost:3000, tapping it in the iPhone app opens that page from the machine the session runs on, in a browser that slides up from the bottom.
It behaves like it does on your computer
- The address doesn't change, so dev servers that check where requests come from accept it.
- Live reload keeps working — save a file, watch the page update on the phone.
- Uploads and downloads work.
- Other ports too. If the page calls an API on another port of the same machine — a frontend on 5173 talking to a backend on 8000 — that works as well.
- Each machine keeps its own cookies and logins, so
localhost:3000on two machines never gets mixed up.
Everywhere you are
It works whether the phone reaches the machine on the same Wi-Fi, through the relay, or over SSH.
If nothing is running on that port, the phone tells you so instead of showing a blank error page.
