Files & the inspector
Read the report your agent just wrote, fix a line, save — without leaving Seedmux.
Open a file
Double-click a file in the inspector's Files or Git list. It opens in its own window right next to the terminal.
- Markdown is fully rendered — tables, callouts, task lists, math, Mermaid diagrams, highlighted code — so an agent's design doc reads like a page, not a wall of
#and|. Long documents get a heading outline (button at the right of the title bar, or ⌥⌘0). - Code and text files get syntax highlighting.
- Images show as they are; PDFs, videos and everything else open in Quick Look.
Edit it
It's an editor, not just a viewer. Type into the file and press ⌘S. The title says (edited) while there are unsaved changes, and Seedmux asks before you close the window or switch away from them.
It keeps up with your agents
When an agent changes the file while you're looking at it, the window refreshes on its own. Move the selection in the inspector — click or ↑ ↓ — and the window follows.
Right-click a file for Open, Open with Default App, Open With…, Show in Finder and Copy Path.
Links in the terminal
⌘-click a file path or URL in any pane to open it. Relative paths are resolved from that pane's folder.
